Curt in the Dirt - Winery Updates Back to Winery Updates

July, 2017

We are preparing for the largest bottling runs in our history. We have finalized a couple of wines including the first Sky Island (unoaked) Syrah from the 2014 Vintage.

For you LDV R.E.D. fans who missed us not bottling a 2013 version, we are about 99% committed to a 2014 R.E.D. We tasted the blend last week and it was yummy. Ultra-smooth and quite jammy!

We are also prepping the last couple of tanks for the 2015 Sky Island Viognier bottling.

Winery Update July 2017

As usual, space is at a premium during harvest so we are consolidating pallets of finished wine and moving as much wine as the cellar can handle to the Scottsdale Wine Gallery.

We will begin cleaning tanks and equipment later this month. We will also be jamming in one more racking of the 2015 and 2016 wines before the hustle and bustle of harvest and fermentation take our attention.
