Curt in the Dirt - Winery Updates Back to Winery Updates

May, 2016

Harvest is right around the corner so we are currently assessing our space needs in the winery. That means getting ready to bottle a bunch of wine to not only free up floor space but barrel and tank capacity.

We will need lots of room to produce and age our 2016 juice! We just ordered 12,000 corks and are bringing in over 1,000 cases of bottles.

We are also sending labels in for approval and getting them printed. We will be bottling 2013 Syrah, 2013 Petite Sirah, and 2013 Grenache as well as several Viogniers.

Our 2013 red wines have been barrel aging for over two years. As we announced last month, our first dessert wine, 2012 The Epilogue (100% LDV Petite Sirah) which has been aging for 40 months in new American and neutral oak barrels will be ready for release soon.

There are a lot of brand new wine releases to enjoy soon!
